The Extra Large Flange head is extensively used where a greater surface area is required and offers excellent resistance. Providing double the coverage of the dome head, this head type offers the largest bearing surface available. Designed for applications when there may be dissimilar metals, where one is softer than the setting material, or some plastics. A large flange blind rivet can be used in a conventional way of fixing or for multiple materials.
